News and Events
FATHER CHIKE: Is gone. Father Juan will be offering reconciliation every Saturday at 3 pm while Fr Chike is gone. He will also do the 4 pm, the 9 am and the 10:45 am Masses during Fr. Chike’s absence. Fr. Carney will do the 12:30 pm on the 29th of December, 7:30 am on January 5th and 12:30 pm on January 12th. ALL OTHER 7:30 am and 12:30 pm Mass times will be accomplished by a Deacon who will celebrate the Sunday Service in the Absence of a priest. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we simply do not have enough priests. Perhaps we can all join together in encouraging our young men to inquire about seminary. Deacon Michael will offer daily communion services while Father Chike is gone.
Funerals will continue as scheduled. If you are in need of an anointing, please call the Parish Office.
POSADAS: THANK YOU to all of the families who hosted our Posadas this year! We realize the amount of work it takes to host such an event for the community. Thank you also to the musicians and choir members who make the Posadas such a festive event. Finally, we want to thank the people who came and supported this time-honored tradition of the Holy Family’s search for housing at Christmas. It helps us to remember and pray for those in our society who are without housing today!
PARISH OFFICES CLOSED: Parish Offices will be closed on January 1st in observance of the New Year holiday. Happy New Year’s Day!
THANK YOU: Thank you to all our Parishioners who have brought gifts and cards to Fr. Chike and the Staff! We greatly appreciate you thinking of us during this Christmas Season!
THE FRANCIS HOUSE: If you would like to donate to support the Francis House, please bring your clean clothing (women’s, children’s or men’s) to the Parish Office and we will store them. We also take shoes and jackets. We especially need men’s shoes, boots, and jackets right now. We also need a full-size mattress box. Thank you for your generosity!
ALTAR PICTURES: We have three photos without any contact information on them. If these are yours, please come to the Parish Office to pick them up. Thank you!
COFFEE SUNDAY SOCIAL: Join your fellow Parishioners after each Mass next Sunday, January 5th, for faith-based community building over coffee and a treat. We will also be voting for the best in various categories of the “Keep Christ in Christmas” poster contest sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. See you there!
